UK manufacturing company, Balmoral Tanks, has seen two of its operating arms surpass 1000 days each with no Lost Time Incidents (LTIs).

UK manufacturing company, Balmoral Tanks, has seen two of its operating arms surpass 1000 days each with no Lost Time Incidents (LTIs).

Balmoral’s dedicated installation teams have carried out more than 1000 days of safe site work while the company’s rotomoulding team has achieved similar status.

Bob Irwin, health and safety manager with the company, said: “We work extremely hard promoting and encouraging safe practices. This is done not only with our own teams but that of the sites we visit on a daily basis.

“It’s great to have reached this milestone however our aim is to continue operating as one of the most highly trained and qualified site installation teams in the sector across the globe.”

At the company’s dedicated rotational moulding facility in Aberdeen, production manager Derek Weir said: “I am delighted the team has reached such a significant milestone in terms of safe working practices.

“We manage a sizeable rotomoulding operation that manufactures a huge amount of products of varying size and complexity. This achievement is testament to the diligence and hard work of our team and those around them.”

Operating from three UK facilities Balmoral Tanks provides water/wastewater storage solutions to a range of sectors including public water, wastewater, anaerobic digestion, fire fighting and numerous processing applications.

“We set ourselves apart through a commitment to safety, customer focus, added value engineering and personnel development. I was delighted to present the teams with mementoes marking their achievements”, added Allan Joyce, the company’s managing director.
